Welcome to Canyon Country Campground!  Canyon Country is a quiet & restful park.  Our sites accommodate tents, pop-ups, travel trailers, fifth wheels and motor homes.  Our single goal is to provide our guests with the highest quality in service and hospitality, insuring that you will not be disappointed with your Canyon Country camping experience. 

If everything is not to your liking, please let us know.  We will make every effort to correct it.  If your stay has been enjoyable, please tell all your friends.  We want you to enjoy your stay with us, have a relaxing and safe time, and come back again soon!

About Us
We are open April 15th until October 31st.  Reservations are accepted up to one year in advance.  You may call any day, we will respond to your phone message even when the campground is closed for the season.

We are located along the East Rim of the PA Grand Canyon with a hiking trail from the campground to the overlook level at Leonard Harrison State Park.

The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon Country offers rafting or canoeing on the Pine Creek River, taking a narrated Covered Wagon Ride into the canyon or horseback riding by the hour or for a half day to several day trips, Hiking or Biking the Pine Creek Rail Trail and more.  You can visit Animaland & The Canyon Gift Shoppe, Yellow Basket Shop, Highland Chocolates, and much, much more - all from within walking distance to just a short drive from the campground.  For more information, click on our Area Information link on the left side.

Saturday, October 1 7:30 p.m. Tommy Cash Tommy was born in Arkansas, one of seven children in his family, and eight years after his brother Johnny. Johnny and Tommy are the only two who made a career in the Music Business. Sometimes Tommy performs a musical “Tribute” to Johnny at concerts. Tommy delivers a family oriented show which comprises his many hits including Six White Horses, Rise and Shine, That Certain One, Thoughts on the Flag, The Cowboy and the Lady, Gypsy Woman and many of the songs from his more than TWENTY ALBUMS! Sunday, October 09 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Green Monster Trail Challenge 15k, 25k & 50kThe Green Monster is a trail challenge designed for both runners and hikers of all ages offering a 15k, 25k or 50k option. The course is nestled in the mountains of the Tioga State Forest just North of the PA Grand Canyon. It is the mission of the Tyoga Running Club to showcase the beauty and difficulty of this terrain.

Friday through Sunday, October 14 - 16 Tioga Early Days A weekend of displays and demonstrations including gas engines, steam engines, tractors, and more. Ichabod Crane is once again scared spitless by the terrifying Headless Horseman in this Halloween special radio show. The Warehouse is set up as an old-timey radio studio, complete with sound effects, for this family celebration. Take 660 West for approx. 9.3 miles till you come to the stop sign in front of Animaland. At this stop sign, go straight. We are 1/4 mile up the hill, on the right hand side. Follow the blue reflective "Canyon Country Campground" signs.
